Meet Camelia
Camelia’s work is inspired by fleeting visual moments from everyday life—instances that resonate with her in quiet, mysterious, and profound ways. Whether it’s the view while driving home, the people and places encountered while traveling, or the stillness of her own backyard, these moments draw her into reverie. Infused with joy, fascination, or tranquility, they become the spark that inspires her to paint.
Camelia grew up in Romania and moved to Canada 25 years ago. She has a Certificate in Arts and Design from the University of Saskatchewan (2017) and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Studio Art) at the University of Saskatchewan.
